Notice of Public Hearing: South Side Parking Changes
The Village of Canastota Board of Trustees is considering amending village law to address ongoing parking issues in the vicinity of South Side Elementary School. Neighbors, parents, and local organizations have advised the Village Board of congestion that can occur at the busiest times of the week, such as during school dropoff/pickup and youth sports games and practices. Residents have voiced their concerns that this congestion creates traffic issues and is a public safety hazard.
