2026 Parade of Champions street closures

CANASTOTA, NY – The International Boxing Hall of Fame’s annual Induction Weekend will be held June 11-14, 2026 in and around the Village of Canastota.

One major event that weekend is the annual Boxing Hall of Fame Parade of Champions, which steps off at noon and travels from Hickory Street to Wilson Avenue.

SUNDAY, JUNE 14
Boxing Hall of Fame Parade of Champions
Start time: 12:00 p.m.
Peterboro Street (Route 13), Canastota
Rasbach Street to Wilson Avenue

All or part of the following streets will be closed before, during and after the event:

Peterboro St. (north and south)
Hickory St.
First St.
Second St.
Third St.
High St.
Prospect St.
Wilson Ave.
Maple St.
Spencer St.
James St.
Rasbach St.
Elm St.
Chapel St.
Canal St.
Center St.
Railroad St.

Other streets may be closed as necessary. Residents and travelers should expect increased vehicle and pedestrian traffic throughout the weekend. Watch for “road closed” and “no parking” signs throughout the village. Police will ticket and tow illegally parked vehicles at the owner’s expense. The Village of Canastota reserves the right to expand or otherwise alter these closures on an as-needed basis.
